A Dollar A Difference Inc is a nonprofit organization that helps families in need with financial assistance , while teaching financial literacy to help families budget and become proficient in their own financial goals.
WHAT WE DO
AT A DOLLAR A DIFFERENCE
The organization is designed to spread financial literacy to lower income families in the community. Everyone deserves to learn about ways to save and generate multiple streams of income. Americans live paycheck to paycheck barely meeting the needs of their household. The cycle can be broken, a dollar makes a difference!
MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
What makes our nonprofit unique is that we not only assist with paying a bill, we equipped the families with knowledge on financial literacy so that they are able to make better choices with their money and learn to save. My family at one point had to use this very resource to pay a utility bill. In the end our bill was paid for us, but we walked away with no education of trying to break the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.
